Want to learn more about you can effectively use social media and multimedia to promote your school's brand message? Telling the success stories of students, staff, and schools can be a valuable tool for engaging parents, encouraging staff members, and showcasing individual students. This session will explore techniques, success stories, and best practices for principals to implement and utilize social media, create multimedia for the web, and utilize the resources of the district's Community Relations Department to promote their brand message. This session will specifically speak to Facebook, Twitter, email newsletter, iPad multimedia creation apps, basic photography/videography techniques, and the Community Relations Department's new Share a Story program where campuses will be able to more effectively share photos, awards, and stories of success district-wide.
